The Titan Group, Professional Investigations (Established in 2006) is on panel with major branded insurance companies, third party administrators (TPA) to investigate various insurance related claims. Our clients are nationwide and local, to include law firms, attorneys, claims examiners, government agencies, transit agencies, municipalities, school districts, corporate and personal clients. In addition, we investigate EEO, Human Resources complaints, Title IX and matters related to peace officers and firefighters. Our investigators are experienced and led in all elements of investigation by the Qualified Manager, Edward Saucerman who has broad experience and expertise in all aspects of civil and criminal investigations. Many of these cases require a high level of professionalism, expertise and investigative skill. Our AOE-COE and surveillance performed in these cases have led to criminal prosecutions of some, and vetted with impartiality that is expected in all. We are fair, thorough and independent in our analysis of matters assigned to us.

ABOUT OUR QUALIFIED MANAGER
Edward Saucerman is a native of Southern California, a graduate of the Los Angeles Police Academy (LAPD), and a retired police veteran of sixteen years from Pasadena Unified School District Police Department where he was the training manager and lead training officer (FTO). Mr. Saucerman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Workforce Education and Development, cum laude, from Southern Illinois University.
He is certified as an instructor by the Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). He has provided advanced training for many professional organizations regarding the EVIDENCE investigation model and curriculum. Mr. Saucerman is certified and trained in Title IX investigations and Internal Affairs | POBRA. Mr. Saucerman is also highly trained in conducting SIU investigations in the workers' compensation arena which has resulted in many criminal prosecutions for workers' compensation fraud. He also oversees the many police POST background investigations conducted by our POST certified staff. Mr. Saucerman has testified as an expert in both the WCAB and the L.A. County Superior Court.
As a police officer, he has made thousands of arrests and investigated thousands of criminal and civil matters. He holds a Basic, Intermediate and Advanced Certificate issued by the California Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST).
He also attended the world-renowned executive police management program, Delinquency Control Institute (DCI), University of Southern California (USC), master’s degree accreditation.
Due to his understanding and broad knowledge, he has presented many training classes in the field of investigation. Because of his expertise, Mr. Saucerman has been featured in various publications, investigation journals and newspaper articles.
As a current adviser to several educational institutions on police matters, he stays involved with the community and provides a valuable investigative opinion for further learning. The Titan Group, Professional Investigations is a sponsor of various sports teams and community youth programs.
He is a member in good standing with numerous industry associations to include; NSPI, PPIAC, MCPI, AWI, and the PI Group.
